Travel Arbitration – Our Aim

For existing claims, our aim is to deliver independent, impartial arbitration services to members of the public and travel companies who use our services (currently including members of ABTA, Love Holidays, On the Beach, The Thinking Traveller, Plum Guide, Sunshine Holidays and Southall Travel) to the highest possible standard.

In ensuring that we provide an independent service, it is important to note that we are not a part of the travel industry or a consumer representative body. We do not regulate travel and we do not represent travel companies or their customers. We do not offer advice or guidance – our role is to administer a claim and appoint an arbitrator to make a decision based on the information provided by the parties.

The wider aims of Hunt ADR are:

  • To help parties in dispute save money, time and important business relationships by using mediation and arbitration services to avoid unnecessary court proceedings, and
  • To provide mediator skills training and CPD programmes which help the next generation of mediators to qualify and the existing generation to ensure that their skills and practice are kept current and fit for purpose.

We are members of The Civil Mediation Council and The Federation of Small Businesses.
